Suffering what must go down as a disappointing league campaign, Real Madrid lost 3-2 to Sevilla this evening as Barcelona moved one game closer to an unbeaten league season.
With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos absent, Sergio Ramos was one Madrid star who did feature tonight - and how!
The former Sevilla man managed to miss a penalty, score an own goal, get himself book, and, ultimately, score a penalty in the space of about 35 minutes.
With Sevilla two goals to the good, Lucas Vazquez was brought down in the box. Opting for the Ronaldo-esque run up of old, Ramos saw his penalty smash off the under-side of the bar and come back out.
As the game moved into its final moments, Ramos was then unlucky to see a cross deflected off his outstretched leg and fly past Francisco Casilla in the Madrid goal.
In the last minute of injury-time, Theo Hernandez was judged to have been pushed off-the-ball in the Sevilla box - up step Ramos, again.
Some night, all the same.
