Real Madrid overcame Eibar today after two Ronaldo goals, but it was a very different matter that head coach Zinedine Zidane had to answer questions about after the game.
With the game tied at 1-1, Madrid captain Sergio Ramos disappeared for several minutes to the bewilderment of the gathered crowd. The 31-year-old reappeared to finish the game but the question remained, where did he go?
In his post-match press conference, Zidane confirmed the Spaniard had some important business to attend to: 'Ramos shat himself a little bit.'
I think Sergio had to take a shit, he went to the toilet and returned in a minute.
Ramos saw the funnier side of it all, posting to Instagram after the game that 'nature calls.'
Madrid had already used their three substitutions before Ramos departed. While it may seem odd that the captain leaves with the game balanced on a knife-edge, the alternative is certainly worse.
