Serbia Look Set To Include Two Young Wonderkids In Team To Play Ireland

Serbia have a number of recognisable players at their disposal. Irish fans will recognise their captain Branislav Ivanovic from his long Chelsea career, Aleksandar Mitrovic plays for Newcastle, Zoran Tosic was at Man United, Lazar Markovic is on loan from Liverpool, and Matija Nastasic was with Man City.

For the game against the Republic of Ireland, they won't have Aleksandar Kolarov, Nemanja Matic, Adem Ljajic for various reasons - and they've gone with their new exciting generation in their squad.

Two wonderkids that should be known to fans of Football Manager and FIFA are set to feature against Ireland - Liverpool's new signing Marko Grujic and Andrija Zivkovic.

Grujic was Klopp's first signing for Liverpool back in January, and he spent the remainder of last season on loan at Belgrade. This could be most Liverpool fans first chance to see the youngster, although he did shine against Fleetwood in the preseason - that's Fleetwood and it's the preseason so.

Zivkovic however is a darling of the Football Manager world. Dubbed 'the Serbian Messi' Zivkovic rejected a move to Barcelona and Liverpool in the summer in favour of a move to Benfica. The 19-year-old became Serbia's youngest international two years ago, and was Partizan's youngest ever captain last year.

Both players will be huge players for Serbia in the future, and both could be a thorn in Martin O'Neill's side on Monday. Something to watch out for.
