Sepp Blatter's media advisers must be in serious facial pain from the amount of cringing they have had to do in recent weeks, as in the wake of the FIFA corruption scandel, Blatter has been trying to save face by doing exactly what got him into such a fine mess in the first place, and that is talking out of his arse.
Not willing to be outshone by the news that the US officials have called for the extradition of seven members of FIFA from Switzerland on corruption charges, Blatter decided to once again steal the spotlight with the type of quote that makes you wonder if he actually has a brain at all:
Anybody who calls me corrupt because Fifa is corrupt, I can only shake my head.
Everybody who says something like that should go to jail.
There you have it folks, if you call Sepp Blatter corrupt you should go to jail.
You have to give the man credit, really, as he continues to find innovative ways to embarrass himself when others would have given up a long time ago.
