Sligo Rovers and Drogheda drew 1-1 in a bottom of the table clash at the Showgrounds on Saturday evening.
The scoring was opened six minutes after the break when debutant Sean Russell hit a sensational left-footed strike beyond the reach of Micheal Schlingermann in the Sligo goal.

Russell, a former Limerick player, joined Drogheda just last week after being released by United Soccer League side Louisville City last week.
His strike has been hailed as a goal of the season contender.

It was a night of firsts. Rhys McCabe grabbed an equaliser with his first goal for Sligo just after the hour mark.
