Watford announced today that Ireland U21 international Sean Murray would be joining Wigan on a month's loan.
After a period deal with injuries, Murray believes that the move is ideal for him right now as the looks to accumulate some much needed game time.
Murray told Wigan's website:
For me, it’s what I need at the moment. I’m really happy to be here and looking forward to playing football.
I think Wigan Athletic are going to be a really strong side this season in League One and they’ll definitely be pushing for promotion.
I’ve been out injured for a while now and I think it’s a good chance to play football.

Judging by what Wigan manager Gary Caldwell had to say, if Murray's initial time at the club is a success, then it will likely be extended.
Sean’s here for a month initially, then we’ll reassess the situation, as with all the loan signings.
The attack minded midfielder has made 84 appearances for Watford since making his debut in 2011, scoring an impressive 14 goals.
