It was strange to hear the raspy tones of Meath manager 'Banty' McEnaney yesterday on the radio from Ballybofey, seeing as there was a round of Meath club championships being played Sunday and the Monaghan man has an upcoming Leinster championship match against Wexford to prepare for. Meath club player Stephen O'Brien provided his spin on it on Twitter yesterday, and didn't seem too impressed..
In fairness to McEnaney, he could probably use the cash.
