A few newspapers (the oracle when it comes to transfer speculation) are very insistent that Jose Mourinho is lining up an expensive looking bid for the darling of Irish football, Seamus Coleman.
Both the Mail and the Daily Star report that Mourinho is prepared to shell out between 20 and 22£ million for the full back, allegedly on the basis that he would be ideal competition for Branislav Ivanovic. Chelsea haven't had a regular Irish starter since Damien Duff, and before that probably Paddy Mulligan.
In the reports, which have also indicated that Manchester United were sniffing around, Jose Mourinho is described as 'a confirmed admirer'.
