Birmingham City have signed Scott Hogan on a four-year deal from Aston Villa. The fee involved has not been disclosed.

Hogan spent the second half of last season on loan at Birmingham, scoring seven times in 17 appearances. He was also named Championship Player of the Month for February.

The Salford-born player joined Aston Villa from Brentford in January 2017 in a £9 million deal but had a disappointing time at the club where he scored 10 times in 61 appearances.

Along with Birmingham, he also had loan spells at Sheffield United and Stoke while on the books at Villa.
