Celtic wrapped up their seventh successive Scottish title with a 5-0 hammering of Rangers last weekend.
With only a Scottish Cup final against Motherwell left by way of serious fixtures, it would have suited Brendan Rodgers if today's trip to Tynecastle went off with little fanfare.
Picking up a 3-1 win after falling one goal behind to Kyle Lafferty's opening strike, Celtic's win was partially blighted by a horrible stamp on their captain, Scott Brown.
Making a move to clear a ball down the line, former Rangers, Everton, and Norwich City man Steven Naismith made his presence felt.
Incredibly, he wasn't even booked.
A reprehensible move from Naismith, Brown was clearly in agony. You can watch the incident below.
Should Steven Naismith have seen red for this 'stamp' on Celtic skipper Scott Brown? https://t.co/HW6emufj5A pic.twitter.com/drxii6uB70
