As the world and its mother knows by now, Man United are officially on the verge of signing Morgan Schneiderlin but is the French midfielder worth the £25m+ fee they've reportedly agreed to pay for him?
The 25-year-old player is having a medical today at United's training grounds in Carrington, which should be completed in time for him to join up with the team before they leave for their pre-season tour of the United States later this evening.
He'll join new signings Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matteo Darmien, who completed their moves over the course of the weekend.
One would imagine Southampton fans are fairly happy with the deal, given they got an extra season out of the midfielder and his fee can now be used to strengthen their defence, with Koeman having lost three of his first choice back five already this summer, due to Nathaniel Clyne and Toby Alderweireld's departures and Fraser Forster's season long knee injury.
As for United fans, they'll have a few weeks to pick their starting central midfield from Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata and Blind.
