Manchester City are showing interest in UCD pair Liam Scales and Neil Farrugia.
The Irish Independent's Daniel McDonnell reports today that both have been invited to train with the Premier League champions' U23 side and that it is anticipated they will take up the offer.
The 20-year-old Scales and 19-year-old Farrugia have come to the notice of City via their Irish scout Mick Collins.
Both have been first-team regulars this season for a UCD side which currently sits second from bottom of the Premier Division.

They were also both part of Stephen Kenny's first squad as Ireland U21 manager for last month's Euro 2021 qualifier against Luxembourg.
Farrugia, who was also eligible to play for Malta, Spain and France, started and scored in a 3-0 win for Ireland.
