Sunderland took the lead against Charlton in their League One playoff final after just five minutes at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
They did so through little effort on their own behalf.
Charlton's Mahamadou-Naby Sarr and Dillon Phillips combined calamitously to give Sunderland the advantage
Centre back Sarr played the ball to his goalkeeper Phillips. However, the pass was slightly wide of Phillips and he failed to adjust in time to prevent the ball rolling past him to the net.
Charlton had finished the season in third, just three points outside the automatic promotion places. Sunderland ended the season in fifth, three points behind Charlton.
What on earth has just happened?!
Sarr passes it back to Phillips but he fails to control it and it rolls into the net!
