With Per Mertesacker making his first start in two decades and no recognised defenders on the bench, Arsenal were down to the bare bones for the FA Cup final.
So they would've been happy with the start they made to the match at Wembley. Alexis Sanchez had the ball in the net after four minutes, only for the linesman's flag to go up. Aaron Ramsey appeared to have been a good five yards offside when he ran towards Sanchez's blocked ball.
The Chilean struck it past Thibaut Courtois, only to pull up when the flag went into the air...
But Anthony Taylor confronted, and subsequently over ruled his linesman, and the Gunners were ahead within five minutes.
It caused a lot of debate on social media

Ramsey running to the ball there makes it offside IMO

5 mins and Arsenal take the lead through Sanchez. Ramsey offside but he wasn't active. Good call from officials

What do you think? Should it have counted?
Arsenal fans won't care, they've got the lead
