Italian champions Juventus have continued their policy of signing absurdly talented midfielders for next to nothing by adding Sami Khedira to the midfield that spent much of last Saturday evening gawping in amazement at Barcelona.
The German midfielder joins on a free transfer from Real Madrid, meaning that he will join a midfield assembled for just £11.8million (€16million).
It is rumoured that Juventus used a vastly complicated algorithim to best decide upon the size of the transfer fees they paid for their midfield. The algorithim can however, be decuced to the following: Vidal+Pirlo+Pogba+Marchisio+Khedira = Joe Allen.
Brendan Rodgers has thrown away his abacus in disgust.
