It's just one week away from the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2016 playoff against Bosnia. So any injury issues or worries are going to be given their fair share of concerns. It's been a tough few weeks for Martin O'Neill since the end of the regular qualifying campaign with several players out through injury.
Shay Given was ruled out yesterday, and today Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce confirmed that O'Neill will be without key defender John O'Shea for the second leg. O'Shea was already banned for Friday's first leg - but there were hopes that O'Shea would be available for the second leg three days later.
O'Shea suffered a hamstring problem against Newcastle, and although there were reports that the Waterford man would be able to play for Sunderland this weekend, he was ruled out late after suffering a setback. It now seems that whatever defence that O'Neill choses for the first leg will be set to continue three days later.
