Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch caught plenty of attention for his sideline antics during his side's clash with Liverpool in the Champions League this week so it should not come as a surprise that his half-time talk was similarly entertaining.
With the Austrian champions 3-1 down, their manager took it upon himself to try and inspire a reaction from his team.
Salzburg released comprehensive footage of the speech which is a mix of English, German and cursing.
"Firstly, how many fouls have we committed? Maybe two?" he asks his players. "It is not a fucking friendly. It’s a Champions League match."
The American went on to discuss several Liverpool players: "Be more ruthless against Van Dijk, we play with too much respect. Too much respect."
Great insight into the half-time talk from Jesse Marsch in their game vs Liverpool.
Interesting to note the emphasis placed group cohesion and re-aligning mentality before addressing any tactical components. pic.twitter.com/unNplaA25U

It nearly worked. Erling Braut Håland's goal after an hour made it 3-3, but they could not hold out and ten minutes later Mo Salah secured all three points for the defending champions.
