Real Madrid are reportedly interested in acquiring Sadio Mane from Liverpool.
According to France Football, the return of Zinedine Zidane to the club has seen Madrid rekindle their interest in the Senegalese forward.
The same publication reported last summer that Mane had agreed terms with Madrid prior to the Champions League final between the two sides. However, Zidane's subsequent decision to leave the Bernabeu meant that the deal was scrapped.
His brief time away from football management has not diminished Zidane's interest in Mane.
The 26-year-old, who joined Liverpool from Southampton in the summer for 2016 for £34 million, has been in superb form for the club this season.
His goal in the 2-1 win against Fulham at the weekend took him to 17 for the season in the Premier League, level with teammate Mohamed Salah. Both are just are just a goal behind Premier League top scorer Sergio Aguero.
