Jurgen Klopp ended the evening by saying that 'Dublin is an LFC city',as his side beat Athletic Bilbao 3-1 at the Aviva Stadium. It was a packed house at Dublin 4, although one seat was left vacant for the final quarter.
It belonged to a pitch invader, who sprung from his seat a the corner of the Landsdowne Road end, sprinted onto the field, and made a beeline for Sadio Mané. He whipped out his phone, and just as he was about to take a photo, he was tackled and diverted by a couple of trailing stewards.
Mané was fairly bemused by the whole thing, although did see the funny side when one of the stewards lost his hat while dealing with the invader. The Senegal forward courted the crowd's approval:
