The tragic passing of Derry City captain Ryan McBride has rocked Irish football this week, and with both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland having big World Cup qualifiers this weekend - against Wales on Friday and Norway on Sunday respectively - there are plans to have a tribute to McBride before both games, in the form of a minute's applause.
As Derry Now and Kevin McLaughlin report, the Aviva Stadium and Windsor Park will see players and fans put their hands together in memory of the 27-year-old, who was found dead at his home on Sunday evening.
And Republic of Ireland fans are planning their own tribute to McBride (who wore the number 5 during his career), as the 'You Boys In Green' forum's Twitter handle outlined on Wednesday.
