Fulham currently lead Aston Villa in today's Championship play-off final, but the Cottagers are lucky to still have eleven men on the pitch after a terrible challenge on Jack Grealish from Fulham right back Ryan Fredericks.
Fulham took the lead in the 23rd minute after Ryan Sessegnon played in Tom Cairney, who coolly slotted past Sam Johnstone:
But in the 29th minute Fredericks got caught in a tangle with Grealish and the 25-year-old appeared to stamp on the Villa man's knee:
Shocking from the defender, who didn't even get cautioned for the incident.
Fans were amazed that the defender was not reprimanded for what looked like a deliberate stamp on the England youngster:
#PlayOffFinal Grealish stamped on (Fredericks not shown red?!), Snodgrass incorrectly found offside and Chester see's yellow for a petty foul. Nice work ref, real nice.
Still, #UTV!!!!

Fredericks should have been sent off.

#PlayOffFinal disgusting by Fredericks. Shouldn't be on the pitch. Routing for our rivals... Come on Villa. Can't believe I've just said that ?

Yeah, Villa are playing poorly, but how did Fredericks not get sent off then? Surely the 4th official is right there? #EFLPlayOffs #AVFC

Fredericks is lucky to be on the pitch, Fulham just can't afford to be hot headed at the moment still need another goal or two

Overall Fulham have looked the better side in the first half, but Steve Bruce's men will feel aggrieved that their opponents weren't reduced to ten men, as they look to get back into the game.
