Rafa's on his way to Real. Some people think he'll do well, some people think he'll do absolutely horrifically. Ryan Babel, we'd suggest is in the later camp.
Benitez brought the Dutch attacker to Anfield as 'the next Henry'. He soon turned out that he would be anything but. He was fast and direct, sure, but he was quite possibly the most headless player to ever set foot in Anfield.
He was eventually shipped of with his stock having fallen remarkably and it seems Babel may blame Benitez for that.
A burn no doubt but one which Benitez should probably take as a compliment. He's not a defensive coach but he certainly expects his forwards to work defensively. Whether he can get Ronaldo to do that remains to be seen.
And for anyone wondering Babel is currently playing for Kasimpasa in Turkey having failed to make much of an impression at Hoffenheim or Ajax.
