She may only be 4 games into her time at Shamrock Rovers, but Ruesha Littlejohn is already proving to be the hit many hoped he would.
The Republic of Ireland International made the move to The Hoops in March following her departure from London City Lionesses and despite being more of a midfielder these days, she's been in great goalscoring form, including a worldie from the halfway line against Galway United.
It was the Tribeswomen that struck first at Eamonn Deacy Park through Abbie Callanan after just 4 minutes but Rovers replied before the half-hour mark with a goal from Emily Corbet.
Then the madness ensued as just moments before halftime Galway re-took the lead as Ireland International Niamh Farrelly slotted the ball through the keeper's leg. Conceding juts before halftime is always the worst time as it can completely change the gameplan for the second half and give the managers a headache to deal with heading into the dressing rooms. However from kick-off Ruesha Littlejohn unleashed ferocious shot from the halfway line which flew over Nicole Nix in the Galway United goals to bring the game back to level terms heading into the break.

It was an absolute superb strike and it was Littlejohn's second goal in 4 games since coming to Dublin. She was a striker in her early career but has been more of a ball-playing midfielder rather than a goalscoring one in recent years but she rolled back the years with that strike. It unfortunately wasn't enough for Rovers as Emma Doherty struck late on to give Galway United a 3-2 lead.
The goal quickly went viral and Ruesha scored again in a ruthless reply to a troll who had tried downplay the goal and the standard of the Women's League of Ireland Premier Division.
Hi Terence ya massive gimp I was without a club for about 7 weeks 👍🏼

The result brings Galway United up the third, one point off Athlone Town with a game in hand. Meanwhile Shamrock Rovers drop down to 5th, three points off Athlone.
