Ruben Amorim will take charge of his much anticipated first game as Manchester United manager on Sunday when the Red Devils travel down to Portman Road to face Ipswich.
The Portuguese man comes in with a lot of hype and intrigue following his very successful spell in charge of Sporting and with United in dire straits and languishing in 13th he has the unenviable task of steering the 20-time Champions back towards the top end of the table.
Amorim will now be the sixth permanent manager of Manchester United since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in 2013 and the one thing every manager has failed to do is bring the same air and winning mentality that Fergie had.
One player that epitomises United's success under Ferguson is Roy Keane. The Corkman was the captain for a majority of United's success during the 90's and 00's and is an iconic figure at the club.
Keane brought a determination to succeed that just hasn't been in this United side for several years now. Manchester United have accepted mediocrity far too often over the past number of seasons, something Keane has said on a number of occasions.
In a recent interview with Gary Neville and Sky Sports' YouTube Channel, Amorim spoke about wanting to meet Roy Keane and he has a lot of admiration for the former United captain, believing that having figures like him in a squad are vital to success.
Hahah, he [Roy Keane] was a player that I really liked. I know he's a little bit crazy but he was a massive player.
I like players with character. I think they can improve - not just what Roy Keane did on the pitch - the way he influenced others.
That is very important in one player, you must have this kind of player in the big clubs, and I hope in the future we'll have players like Roy Keane

Amorim also extended and invitation to Sir Alex Ferguson to meet, though Amorim wasn't sure he would be able to keep up with the Scot if the conversation moved to his favourite past time, horse racing.
Nonetheless, it's yet another new era at Manchester United and only time will tell if Amorim is finally the man to bring titles back to Old Trafford or will he join the now long succession of managers who have been sent to the chopping block.
