RTÉ has confirmed that it will broadcast the Europa League tie between Shamrock Rovers and AC Milan.
The League of Ireland side drew the Italian giants in the second qualifying round of the competition and will play at Tallaght Stadium on Thursday, September 17th. The game is a single-leg tie.
Live coverage on RTÉ2 will be presented by Peter Collins while Kenny Cunningham will sit alongside George Hamilton on commentary.
Coverage begins at 6.30pm and the game kicks-off at 7.00pm. Extra-time and penalties are both a possibility on the night.
The game will be AC Milan's first competitive game of the season. In contrast Shamrock Rovers are 10 games into the League of Ireland season. That includes having played seven games since the season restarted in early August.
Rovers defeated Finnish side Ilves on penalties in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.
