The focus may all be on him possibly becoming Celtic manager but Roy Keane reckons that Ireland can be confident heading into the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign beginning in September.
Keane told cameras at the Aviva that he is confident in the current batch of Irish players, and is encouraged by the youth talent coming through. Ireland are stood in good stead thanks to the mix of youth and experience in the side according to the former international who amassed 67 caps during his service in the green shirt.
Martin O'Neill and Keane's Ireland are looking to bounce back from last week's defeat to Turkey. The Corkman says mistakes are OK, as long as they are eradicated by the time the serious stuff gets underway in September.
