Man City looked in terrifying form against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday night.
The Germans were easily swept away by a Sergio Aguero hat-trick and a late goal from Kelechi Iheanacho.
On ITV's Champions League highlights show after the game, Roy Keane was uninhibited when professing his admiration for Pep Guardiola and what he has already done at the club.
He also stated that between the two Manchester managers - Guardiola and Mourinho - the Spaniard is 'The Special One'.
What was important when he first went in there, the decision to get rid of two or three... what you felt were really important characters for Man City over the last two or three years. Hart, Toure - he's made a decision - 'You're not for me'.
He say's he a challenging coach and he doesn't look like he messes about. Obviously they're playing with confidence, there's a long way to go in the season yet. He's rotating the squad, players are playing with a lot more confidence after a decent start.
I wouldn't like to mess with him.
The two coaches in Manchester, Mourinho reckons he's the special one. For me, this guy [Guardiola] is.
'I wouldn't like to mess with him' - there are not many individuals in football you will hear Roy Keane say that about.
He also feels that City this season will be an unrelenting force because of Guardiola.
We've seen City have good starts before and I think it's been in Man City's DNA over a number of years that they take their foot offf the gas a relax a little bit. It won't happen with this guy in charge - no chance.
