I think we've also been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best League in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand but we've seen over the last few weeks with a lot of the English teams struggling that these teams have fallen behind the top teams in Europe.
After Michael Carrick trudged out to deliver his post-match interview with Gabriel Clarke, trying his best, no doubt, to remain composed and upbeat, Keane said it "was like the rest of United's performance - flat". To make matters worse, Carrick's wife took to Twitter to give out about Keane afterwards.
Keane also delivered a strong summation of the reasons behind United's decline this season, putting it down to a new manager with new ideas, poor efforts in the transfer market in the last few years, a lack of confidence and he suggested that Moyes would have been privately shocked by the lack of quality in United's ranks.
I think David Moyes would have been shocked. I think when he went into United in the summer, he's probably looked at the players having expected great things and he's probably looked at them at close quarters and I'd say privately he's been shocked at the lack of quality he's been working with.
