Manchester City and Arsenal have played out a thriller in the Etihad, as Pep Guardiola's men dug deep to find a 98th-minute equaliser against the ten-man Gunners.

In what was 90 minutes of back-to-back football between the two best teams in England, the first half delivered more than its fair share of drama. The stadium had barely filled when Erling Haaland fired City ahead with a stunning finish in the 9th minute. However, City's lead was short-lived when Calfiori drew Arsenal level before a 46-minute Gabriel header left Mikel Arteta's men 2-1 ahead.

Despite Arsenal leading by a goal, a careless decision by Arsenal's Leandro Trossard earned him a red card and saw the Gunners reduced to ten men before the teams headed in for the break.

While Arsenal gallantly held out a surging Manchester City until the clock hit 90, injury time proved too much for the tired Londoners, who eventually cracked by means of conceding an agonising last-minute John Stones equaliser.

Roy Keane slams lack of violence in Ederson's defending

However, Roy Keane slammed Ederson's role in Gabriel's header in a rant, so Keane-esque one could nearly picture him saying it, with Keane even getting up of his seat for a demonstration.

I think the goalkeeper has got to do more, I think he's gotta dominate that area. Howcome he's getting knocked over, why isn't he knocking people over.

That's your area, if someone comes into your area be ready...come with violence, come and hit people...look at people and say 'if you come anywhere near me, I'm taking the ball and I'm taking you with me'. If people are coming near him he should be grabbing them. He should be going 'you wanna come near me, lets say who'll win this battle'. Remember he can use his arms.

You can use your arms, punch it, take the guys head off if you have to.

In what was one of Keane's most animated rants of recent years, the former Manchester United star was off his seat mimicking exactly how Ederson should've used his arms, to much enjoyment from his fellow pundits.
