Manchester United have continued their recent resurgence under Erik ten Hag, defeating table toppers Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford this afternoon.

It was a bit of an odd game, with the visiting side playing the better football but finding themselves behind for the majority of the contest.

They had a goal disallowed in the first half, with debutant Antony going on to open the scoring for United at the other end.

Mikel Arteta's side continued to create the better of the chances after the interval, and when Bukayo Saka levelled the scores in the 60th minute, they looked like favourites to go on and claim the three points.

However, it was the hosts that would take the lead.

After soaking up some further pressure, they hit Arsenal on the break and scored via Marcus Rashford.

The England forward would add a second a few minutes later to make ensure a fourth consecutive victory for his club.

Roy Keane delighted after Manchester United win over Arsenal

It was certainly a good afternoon for Manchester United, with the atmosphere in the ground quite the contrast to what we were seeing only a few weeks ago.

Roy Keane was on punditry duty for Sky Sports, and with the home fans chanting his name in the background, he was unusually positive about the direction his former team were travelling in.

This is what I've liked when I've seen this team over the last couple of weeks, the spirit and a bit of personality in the team.

Obviously in the second half they played on the counterattack, but they were clinical and could have scored a few more goals. It's another big win for the club and I think the momentum is coming back to the club.

The feel-good factor is there and the fans are buzzing. It's a good day for them...

It's been a long time (since there such a good atmosphere at Old Trafford). There was a lot of negativity last season and the start of this season, but when you win a few football matches everyone feels great. I've said that before.

You can sense it around the ground, the feel-good factor is hugely important at a football club. The fans are buzzing, it's a good day.

Roy Keane has been very critical of Manchester United over the last 12 months or so, but it is clear to see that he is enjoying the direction they are now travelling under Erik ten Hag.

He remained in good spirits until Christian Eriksen arrived for his post-match interview, admitting he was still a bit bitter about the Dane scoring a hat-trick against Ireland team in the World Cup play-off back in 2017 when he was the assistant manager.

Keane: I have no questions to ask you because I'm still upset over Dublin when you scored for Denmark.

Eriksen: Yeah, I thought so!

Keane: I'll just pass you on because I'm still upset with you.

Eriksen: We had a good night out in Dublin as well afterwards.

Keane: I bet you did!

Peak Keane.

Manchester United fans will certainly be hoping that the team can keep him in good humour moving forward.
