Roy Keane and his daughter Caragh shared a lovely moment as she made a surprise guest apperance on this week's episode of 'Stick to Football.'

Caragh, Keane's second-eldest daughter, appeared at the beginning of this week's episode to promote her new cereal brand SUPERKEEN.

The cereal is anti-inflammatory and gut-friendly, and the 29-year-old was motivated to develop the brand after a life-changing diagnosis four years ago.

In an interview with the Irish Independent earlier this week, Caragh Keane explained that she had been suffering from a mystery illness for some time in her early 20s, which left her bed-bound with exhaustion on occasion. Eventually, after she noticed blisters on her hands and face and thinning hair, she sought medical attention, and was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Lupus at the age of 25.

Keane's health has since thankfully taken a positive turn but it was understandably a harrowing ordeal for her and the family.

She appeared on the Overlap's 'Stick to Football' with Sky Bet, alongside Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright, and her father this Thursday.

The two Keanes shared a truly heartwarming exchange as they reflected on how the family had rallied together during Caragh's illness, in a moment that showed the softer side to Keano.

Caragh Keane appeared alongside her father Roy in the 'Stick to Football' studio and opened up about the challenges posed by her Lupus diagnosis four years ago.

She said that her dietary requirements were complicated and that, after surveying the limited options available to her bar steroids and immunosupressants, she decided to make the bold move of developing her own brand for people who suffered from similar issues.

The Overlap panel gave Caragh Keane massive praise for her endeavours and herself and her father shared a lovely moment as the conversation progressed.

Roy Keane was asked if he was proud of his daughter and, after putting his arm around his daughter, said, "Yeah, of course. I'm proud of all my kids. Good stuff. I like [the cereal], beautiful."

Keane went on to explain that he had found the situation difficult but had done all he could to be there for his daughter.

Of course, it's not easy. You try and help them and support. Your mother was maybe more hands on than me...to be honest!

Caragh would also praise her mother Theresa for her support, as well as the man sitting alongside her.

The love between the pair was clear, and Caragh Keane would give an insight into the kind of supportive presence her father had been through the ordeal.

Keane gave financial support to help Caragh get her business up and running, and his daughter revealed that he is a truly supportive presence at home.

"He is the most supportive person," Caragh said, "He definitely loves his routine, if that is off kilter, we know about it. If there's a delivery coming that he's not aware of...the poor Amazon delivery man!

"He is great. You have your funny moments, don't you?"

To which her father replied, "Don't we all?"

It was one of the best sections of any 'Stick to Football' episode we've had thus far, and it showed a side to Roy Keane that has not been in the public eye much.

Wonderful stuff.
