On Sunday, Celtic exited the Scottish Cup with a semi-final defeat to Rangers. It supplemented an already disappointing season for the club.
Today, Celtic announced that Ronny Deila would be departing Parkhead at the end of the season. His decision, not the club's - apparently.
Deila was appointed manager in June of 2014. He was not the first choice candidate to succeed Neil Lennon - that was Roy Keane.
Handily, as Deila's summer departure was made public, Keane was on stage at the Winning In Business event at the Bord Gais Theatre.
Asked about the Celtic post, the Ireland assistant manager replied that he already has two jobs. That was a comment to which he added 'No comment'.
"I've two jobs, ITV and Ireland. No comment," says Roy Keane, when Alison Comyn asks him about Celtic

Shortly before that, Keane committed one of the mortal sins for which he has often berated others.
Oh the irony! Roy Keane's mobile has just gone off during the sports panel @BordGaisEnergy #winninginbiz event...#karma

Perhaps it was Dermot Desmond calling.
