Manchester United have played out a largely inconclusive 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in Rueben Amorim's first Premier League game in charge of the Reds.

Amorim's Manchester United career got off to a dream start when Marcus Rashford fired the Reds ahead after just three minutes with a move that evidently came straight from the training ground.

However, United's joy was short-lived against the 19th-placed Tractor Boys, as they struggled to make any improvement on the shock and awe delivered in the opening minutes.

After a relentless forty minutes, of which they were more often than not the better side, Ipswich's Omari Hutchinson found a sensational goal to level the affair just moments before the break.

Despite the two first-half goals, the fixture did little to live up to expectations in the second half with both sides failing to ignite any of the half-chances they had, the most promising of which came when a near-miss from Fernandes brought the home fans to the edge of their seats.

Roy Keane involved in tense altercation after Manchester United draw

While at large Roy Keane was unexcited by Manchester United's performance vs Ipswich, the former Manchester United captain certainly got animated when he confronted one of the Tractor Boys home supporters who were jeering him from the stands.

As Keane and his Sky Sports colleagues were preparing to return to action analysing Ipswich, who Keane himself managed between 2009 and 2011 but left on poor terms, the Corkonian put down his microphone before walking over to the group of fans, where a heated altercation followed.

According to Nathan Salt of the Daily Mail, there was little love lost between Keane and his former fans, with one of the home supporters rushing over and shouting Keane 'Fuck You'.

From another angle, Keane can also be heard telling the fan in question that he'll meet him in the car park, before being taken away by the staff on the field.

I'll wait for you in the car park, I'll wait for you in the car park.

While it wasn't long until Keane was ushered back to the punditry desk, the Corkonian who is no stranger to controversy or conflict was clearly unnerved by whatever was said.

Sunday's incident is not the first time Keane has found himself embroiled in conflict while on punditry duty, with an Arsenal fan receiving a three-year ban from football in May after he was found guilty of headbutting Keane, who was on punditry duty.
