Speaking on TalkSport, former Rangers and Scottish international Ally McCoist shared another classic Roy Keane anecdote, about the time he spotted him sunbathing on a deserted beach.
It's fair to say that Roy Keane's reaction to being disturbed is exactly how many of would feel if our relaxing afternoon on the beach was suddenly interrupted by an unwanted presence.
"So I walk down the beach which was next to the hotel," began McCoist. "And the beach, I'm telling you, nobody on the beach, nobody.
One sun bed away up the left hand side, Roy's sitting on it, and he's got the headphones right. The only person on the beach and I'm thinking to myself, there's no danger, there's absolutely no danger that he wants to see me.
Initially I thought I'll pull up my sun bed right next to him, turn on the Rammstein and see where it takes us....And I nearly did but I thought he'd have killed me. I thought I'll pull up right next to him, I'll stick on Rammstein and have a chat with him.

"But I didn't," continued McCoist. "I walked up to him, I walked all the way along the beach. He's sitting there with his headphones on. He opens one eye, looks at me and removes the left ear.
"I went, I says 'you'll be delighted to hear, I'm not going to sit next to you, I'm going to leave you alone, I just wanted to say hello.'
"And he looked at me, closed his left eye, put his left ear plug back in and stuck his thumb up."
