The title out of sight, there's just the matter of Champions League qualification places for Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal to scrap over as the season comes to a close.
For years, as titles failed to arrive at the Emirates, Arsene Wenger called the achievement of finishing in the top four a de facto trophy. This season, it looks like Arsenal fans and their manager might not even have that straw to grasp.
That top four finish is nothing to celebrate according to Roy Keane.
Speaking at a Show Racism the Red Card event, Keane, quoted by RTÉ, said that he cringes when he sees big teams celebrating a top four finish in the Premier League.
When I see clubs like Liverpool and Man United celebrating getting into the top four, I cringe at it, I really do.
Any of these big clubs - do you think that Real Madrid and Barcelona would be celebrating getting fourth? Come on, get a grip.
It is about getting your hands on a trophy. People talk about getting into the top four because of the financial rewards and it was great for teams like Leicester to qualify but for the big teams, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, celebrating fourth? I say shame on you.
