Cork City beat Derry City 3-0 on Monday night to make the semi-finals of the FAI Cup.
It took Cork 74 minutes to open the scoring though. When the goal came, it was certainly worth the wait.
Liam Miller evaded the attentions of two Derry players with a silky turn which bought him space to play a ball into the penalty.
Derry half cleared it but only to the left foot of Ross Gaynor seven or so metres outside of the box.
The midfielder did not hesitate to smash a volley past Gerard Doherty in the Derry goal.
