Ronaldo (the Brazilian one, for those of you still in school) has suggested that he may be getting back to training and maybe even playing a few games in 2014 for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, the NASL club that he owns a 10% stake in.

Having last played for Corinthians in 2011, Ronaldo has been popping up in all sorts of places over the last four years, such as a Brazilian weight-loss reality TV show, the Poker Stars World Tour, and even as a member of the organising board for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but now it seems as though 'Il Fenomeno' fancies lacing up his boots and hitting the pitch once again.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Ronaldo said the following when asked if he had ever considered actually playing for the Strikers:

I will try to play some games. This year I want to train a lot. The last three years I didn't because I was too busy in other stuff. Maybe if we get to the final and I'm feeling good, why not? I will put my name in the NASL as an option.

It would certainly give us a reason to watch the NASL anyway, what's Bebeto up to these days?
