2016: Leicester City win the league, Brexit, Donald Trump, and now most of the football world ended up cheering for Cristiano Ronaldo during the Euro 2016 final. Ronaldo went off injured, weeping, following a heavy challenge from Dimitri Payet. He was stretchered off and went down the tunnel, before returning for the second half to assume a role on the subs bench.
