Many laughed last week when Thierry Henry suggested Chicharito should have thanked Cristiano Ronaldo instead of celebrating himself. And rightly so, it was a bizarre thing to say. Much of the criticism that was aimed at Henry came down to the fact that Ronaldo is not known to be the most generous individual on a pitch.
Whether that's true or not is up for debate but that belief was given a bit more fuel last night when Ronaldo appeared to have a rather stroppy reaction to Alvaro Arbeloa nabbing a goal ahead of him during Real Madrid's 3-0 win over Almeria.
Take a look for yourself and decide.
He does seem to shake his head in the aftermath of the goal. And yes we do feel a bit stupid analysing how many times a man moves his head from side to side.
We're undecided on whether Ronaldo was in fact being petulant but as tends to happen with these things, the online castigation was swift.
.@as_trueba is no fan of Ronaldo's reaction to Arbeloa's goal 'theft': "No ambition, no matter how great, justifies such childish behaviour" — AS English (@English_AS) April 29, 2015
Cristiano Ronaldo ladies and Gentlemen will be most jealous player of all time. His reaction to arbeloa's goal is unacceptable.

Another tantrum from Ronaldo when his team score. A genius of a player, but his behaviour at times is pathetic.

It's not only Bale who Ronaldo resents scoring. He's just sulked after Arbeloa's goal - his first in a league game since 2008!
