A rather amusing story has emerged in the aftermath of Arsenal's 0-0 home draw against Southampton, which involved Saints boss Ronald Koeman having a go at Arsene Wenger on the touchline.
Wenger has been known to give the refs a piece of his mind when things aren't going well, but the Dutch manager standing opposite him was not impressed when he heared the Arsenal boss have a pop at the officials.
Obviously frustrated by Arsenal's inability to convert any of their chances on the night, Wenger directed his frustration at match referee Lee Mason as he said:
It’s always the same with you..
To which Koeman immediately chimed in with:
And it’s always the same with you. You had 10 chances to score and couldn’t take any of them so why have a go at them?
Wenger eventually calmed down for his post match interview, where he credited his players with creating an abundance of chances:
Ronald Koeman loves getting into it with another manager, that fiery Dutch temper means that he rarely bits his lip when he's got a problem with something, or someone, as Louis Van Gaal would tell you.
