You don't see a lot of Premier League managers on twitter, and this afternoon we were given a great example as to why.
In general with social media you've got to be very, very careful with what you post as you're almost certainly going to offend somebody, but Everton boss Ronald Koeman surely could have seen the backlash coming when he posted a picture of his newly decorated Christmas tree for the world to see.
The traditional colours of Christmas may indeed be green and red, but not when you're associated with Everton.

That hashtag though...
The very red Christmas tree was posted to generate a bit of cheer during the festive season, but Koeman's notifications quickly became full of Everton fans informing him that he had made a mistake.
@RonaldKoeman red Ronald really????? Dissapointed?

@RonaldKoeman no blue?

And sure enough, he made the necessary changes to keep his fans happy.
Although it's still not blue.
Better colour? ?? pic.twitter.com/oiIeJry2aB

Happily ever after? Perhaps, although Koeman did send out a tweet to comment on the ridiculousness of it all, and he's not wrong to be honest.
I Think there are more serious problems in the world, than making a big story out of a #ChristmasTree !!! ?

In reality, all most Everton fans want for Christmas is a win over Manchester United this weekend, and the visitors will be without Wayne Rooney due to suspension.
