A 15-year old British boy, who had been missing since August of last year, has been found safe thanks to a fantastic promotion campaign by Italian club Roma.
With the announcement of signings becoming the quickly the most popular social media posts for football clubs, Roma have used theirs to promote a worthy cause. Every time they announce a new arrival at the club, they place a photo of a missing child on the post, along with information on who to contact if you have any information available.
Yesterday they announced the news that the teenager from Essex had been found safe.
Today’s news about a sixth young person from the #ASRoma missing children campaign being found safe and well provides new hope for the families of the other children we featured but who are still missing. We pray that they too will be reunited with their loved ones 🙏 pic.twitter.com/22P2kyKkSw

The initiative has been a huge success, with six missing children throughout the world having been located as a result.
This case was first featured after the signing of Mert Cetin, and later Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Cetin expressed his delight that the club had played a part in the teenager being reunited with his family:
As soon as I received the news that another missing child had been found, my heart filled with joy.
I'm really happy that another child who appeared in the video announcing I had signed for Roma has been found safe.
I'm sure it was a beautiful Christmas present for him and his family.
I’m happy that he's doing well and that I contributed in some small way, along with the club, to raise awareness about his story.
Two more British children, as well as two in Kenya and one in Belgium, have also been found safe as a result of the campaign.
