What a miss. Valencia have drawn 2-2 with Chelsea but it was a game they certainly should have won.
Valencia took the lead after 40 minutes, with Carlos Soler steering home the opener. The ball took a couple of bobbles after the player before heading goalward, but you feel Kepa certainly could have done better with the effort.
Luckily for the away side, Matteo Kovacic would reply within a minute with an excellent strike.

Chelsea took the lead in the second half via Christian Pulisic. His strike was initially flagged for offside, only for it to count after a long VAR check.
VAR controversy at the Mestalla.

The home side blew a chance to equalise from the penalty spot, with Kepa coming up with an excellent save.

Their equaliser was a cracker, but it definitely wasn't intentional.
Daniel Wass attempted to whip the ball into the box only for it to sail over Kepa's head and into the net. The 'keeper probably could have got to it as well had he not inexplicably pulled his hands down for no reason.
Daniel Wass makes it 2-2!

Valencia pushed for the winner in injury time, and Rodrigo really should have gotten it.
Gaya directed the ball towards the back post, where the Spanish striker was in an acre of space. He bizarrely decided to go with his left foot instead of steering it home with his right.
He made a balls of it.
A contender for miss of the season.
