Shane Duffy is on the verge of making a massive career decision. The 28-year-old is set to leave Brighton this summer in search of regular playing opportunities, with Celtic and West Ham rumoured to be his most likely destinations.
Celtic are rolling out the heavy hitters to sway the Derryman to join them in their quest to complete a famous SPL 10-in-a-row. None other than Rod Stewart has come out this afternoon with a personal plea to Duffy.
The singer of 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy' and the world's leading cup draw impresario was photographed on the Daily Record website holding a sign reading 'C'mon Shane You Know It's The Right Thing To Do!' Stewart is also wearing a Celtic chain in case anyone thought he was making a plea to Shane Lowry or McMahon.

All signs point to Glasgow for Duffy. While West Ham are also contenders to sign him, Duffy's brother Tony uploaded the Celtic crest on Instagram stories today, and now with this intervention from Scotland's greatest living pop star, it appears only a matter of time before Duffy puts pen to paper at Celtic Park.
