It's no secret that the League of Ireland has experienced promising growth over the last number of years, both from a spectator and a commercial perspective. Today the LOI announced a major brand partnership that shows that trend is showing little sign of slowing down.
On Wednesday, the League Of Ireland announced a partnership with Rockshore and Rockshore 0.0.
The four year deal - which will see Rockshore and Rockshore 0.0 become the official Beer and Alcohol-Free Beer of the League from January 2025 - comes at a point when the League of Ireland is enjoying a period of unprecedented success that has seen attendances across the country sky-rocket, clubs advance further in Europe than ever before, and the most thrilling Irish title race in recent memory.

Rockshore announce LOI partnership
Speaking after the announcement, Diageo's Head of Beer Anne Zahan spoke of her excitement about what this could mean for the league.

Last year, League of Ireland attendances broke the one million mark for the first time in history with a 20% increases in attendances seeing 1, 001 ,630 football lovers piling through the turnstiles in 2024.
That figure is set to rise once again next year. 2025's opening game will see a LOI-first when the Dublin derby comes to the Aviva Stadium for the season curtain raiser
