Roberto Martinez has landed himself in hot water in Brazil after FIFA revoked his World Cup accreditation. The Everton manger has been working with ESPN, but that could be in jeopardy now as he is no longer allowed to access official World Cup sites.
According to the Daily Mail, Martinez passed on his accreditation to someone who wanted to watch a Dutch training session. This is apparently a big no-no and after it was spotted by officials in Rio, it seems Martinez's standing as one of the good guys in football wasn't enough to save him from the wrath of the FIFA rulebook.
The accreditation can only be used by the person that it has been issued with the terms and conditions stating it can be revoked if regulations are breached.
Martinez being shipped home could be good news for Everton fans if it gives him more time to work on some quality transfers.
