Liverpool strolled to a 2-0 win against the artists formerly known as AC Milan in San Francisco last night in the latest installment of the International Champions Cup. It marked a reintroduction for a number of Liverpool's returning internationals, including Daniel Sturridge. It was another returning striker who made the most notable impact, however, as Divock Origi opened the scoring with a velvet touch and a rapier finish:
1-0 soon became 2-0, with an Ian Rush-style tap in by Roberto Firmino following a blistering turn of pace by Sheyi Ojo:
The highlight of the game, however, was captured by a fan, and involved Firmino pulling off one of those 'reconsider all of your life decision, pal' nutmegs on Ignazio Abate:
Outrageous.
It's not the first time we've seen Firmino pull this off: he sent Roberto Soldado into bemusement in last season's Europa League semi-final.
