Robbie Savage has had a tough day.

The BT Sport pundit was singled out by John Terry for essentially not being good enough as a player to criticise the Chelsea captain, and the response has the former Wales international take an absolute battering on social media.

Every single thing that Savage has done on twitter since Terry's comments has been hammered by teenagers and muppets claiming that Savage was "owned" or "rekt" or whatever stupid term is currently being used by the youth to over exaggerate the severity of a situation, as can be seen in the replies to all of his tweets:

And so on and so-forth.

Enough was enough for Savage, who acknowledged John Terry's jibe and claimed that he will deal with it this upcoming weekend on his regular show 'Fletch & Sav':

That's well played by Savage, BT Sport will be delighted as you can bet that people will be tuning in just to see what he says this week.

It's almost like a hip-hop beef, except with less guns and more journalists present.

It will be interesting to see what Savage has to say, considering the general consensus is that Terry was fairly spot on, but it seems that the former Birmingham and Blackburn midfielder won't take this lying down.
