But actually, Mike Bassett is played by Ricky Tomlinson and the interview is an advert for his new project 'Interim Manager' which would be the long overdue sequel to the quite frankly genius 'Mike Bassett, England Manager', should it receive the funding it needs via a kickstarter campaign.
