In Ireland, sporting memorabilia is invariably tucked away in golf clubhouses, GAA clubhouses, and the homes of the athlete's parents. In English football now, they have the 'National Football Museum.'
Having taken the rash/overdue decision to cut his hair earlier in the week, Robbie has now offered to donate the timmings to the National Football Museum.
As Robbie himself humbly admitted, no doubt anticipating a hail of online commentary telling him so, he didn't win a great deal of silverware during his career. His hair was arguably his greatest contribution to English football.
